Great Rivers Greenway is soliciting qualifications for implementation of Gateway Bike Plan activities from firms, organizations and non-profits with prior experience in conducting education and encouragement activities for on-street bicycling. The Gateway Bike Plan provides a coordinated vision for accommodating and encouraging bicycling as a viable transportation mode and includes strategic actions to achieve the recommended facilities along with education, enforcement and encouragement programs. INVITATION TO BID – BID DATE: December 17, 2014
The Trestle Maintenance Project – Phase I

The Great Rivers Greenway District (District), the Owner, is soliciting sealed bids for The Trestle Maintenance Project – Phase I, which extends from N. 11th and Tyler across I-70 and along N. Market St. to its touchdown along the Riverfront Bike Trail in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.

Sealed bids will be received at the offices of The Great Rivers Greenway District, 6174 A Delmar Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63112 on December 17th until 2:00 p.m. prevailing Central time and immediately thereafter, they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Owner’s Conference Room. A 5% Bid Security in the form specified in the bidding documents is required. Participation Goals for the project are 25% MBE and 5% WBE. The District reserves the right to waive informalities in bids, and to reject any and all bids submitted.

Bid documents are available to bidders in pdf format and can be requested by an e-mail request to Amy O'Brien at aobrien@acceng.com starting at noon on November 20, 2014. Requests must include name, company name, phone number and mailing address. Hard copies of the bid documents may also be purchased by request. All questions should be communicated to Mark Vogl, Project Manager, via email at mvogl@grgstl.org. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on December 8th at 1:00 p.m. prevailing Central time at the District offices, 6174A Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63112.

Successful Bidder shall be required to comply in all respects with applicable statutory provisions concerning payment of prevailing wages on public works, Sections 290.210 through 290.340 R.S. Mo. 1959, as currently amended, and shall pay to all workmen performing under work contract not less than prevailing hourly rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri.

Busch Greenway- Howell Trail/Missouri Research Park Trail #217

Great Rivers Greenway, the Developer, is soliciting sealed bids for Busch Greenway-Howell Trail/Missouri Research Park Trail Signage. This project consists of fabrication and installation of trail signage.

Sealed bids will be received at the offices of Great Rivers Greenway, 6174 A Delmar Blvd., St. Louis MO 63112 until 10:00 a.m. prevailing Central time, November 24, 2014, and immediately thereafter, they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Developer's Conference Room. Great Rivers Greenway reserves the right to waive informalities in bids, and reject any and all bids submitted.

One electronic copy of the Bid Documents and other information relating to the project MUST be obtained from Kiku Obata and Company starting November 11, 2014. All questions should be communicated to Todd Mayberry, at Kiku Obata & Company, via email at tmayberry@kikuobata.com.
